Miracle Acres “Hot Springs Oasis” is a 55+ member-owned park in the desert community of Desert Edge, east of Palm Springs. This hidden gem is a small, gated community with 80 units, including one rental unit available for members to reserve for visiting family and friends. The large mineral hot springs-fed pool and two spas are favorite amenities and are open 24 hours for members’ soaking pleasure.

Miracle Acres offers many activities and social events throughout the season, including card games, bingo, cribbage, crafts, water billiards, chair aerobics, and Sunday night movies in the clubhouse. Popular outdoor activities include beanbag baseball, water aerobics, shuffleboard, and ever-popular water volleyball.

The park also offers reasonably priced onsite laundry facilities, including an outdoor clothesline.

Annual dues are currently $4,500, payable monthly on the first of each month. Dues include property taxes, water, sewer, and garbage. Miracle Acres is a California nonprofit mutual benefit corporation, and membership gives owners a 1/80 shareholder interest in this community. Once an interested party reaches a purchase agreement with the seller of a unit, the applicant will receive a membership application, along with copies of the Rules & Regulations and By-Laws.

After the completed application is submitted to the transfer member or office, applicants will receive an email with a link to order their background and credit checks. Once the application and checks are approved, an interview will be scheduled with association board members. During the interview, applicants will be asked about their understanding of the park’s governance and will have the opportunity to ask questions to better understand how the Miracle Acres community works and plays together as a cohesive HOA community.
